Rust Twitch Drops 2026: All Rounds & How to Claim

All Rust Twitch drops rounds of 2026, from Homebrewed 4.0 to Rust Isles, whether the next round is announced, and how to link Steam and Twitch to claim.

Rust Twitch drops are the easiest way to get free Rust skins: watch Rust streams on Twitch, claim the rewards, and the skins land in your Steam inventory. Facepunch ran several drop rounds in 2026, from a February creator event to a big charity drive and the Rust Isles round that ended in early October.

This guide covers every Rust Twitch drops round of 2026 that we could verify, whether the next Rust Twitch drops round has been announced, and how to link your accounts and claim drops properly. Facepunch's own news posts and the official drops page at twitch.facepunch.com are our main sources. Where only community trackers have the details, we say so.

Are Rust Twitch Drops Live Right Now?

No. As of 13 October 2026, there is no active Rust Twitch drops campaign. The countdown on the official drops page shows zero time remaining. The most recent round, Rust Isles, ran from 24 September to 4 October 2026 (23:59 UTC).

When are the next Rust Twitch drops?

The next round hasn't been announced yet. Facepunch's latest monthly update, published on 1 October 2026, only reminded players to catch the last days of Rust Isles. It didn't mention a follow-up round.

What we do know is that drop rounds have been frequent but irregular. In 2026 they've lined up with creator events, Twitch Rivals, a charity drive and big community server events. The next monthly force wipe is on 5 November 2026, and Facepunch usually posts announcements in its update and community posts around wipes. We'll update this page as soon as a new round is confirmed.

All Rust Twitch Drops Rounds in 2026

Facepunch doesn't number its rounds in public. The round numbers below are the community numbering used by trackers such as Rustpedia, Rustly and Frozen Rust.

Round 48: Homebrewed 4.0 (February)

Facepunch announced Homebrew 4 in its January 2026 community update as a 5–15 February event. It included 10 exclusive drops from the Twitch roster and 4 general drops from the YouTube scene. The round came out alongside the Naval update. Like earlier Homebrewed rounds, it was built to support up-and-coming Rust creators.

Round 49 (April)

Community trackers list an April 2026 round under the label "Peanut's Wasteland". We couldn't confirm its full reward list from an official Facepunch source, so we aren't listing items here.

Round 50: Twitch Rivals – Base Invaders (May)

According to Facepunch's May 2026 update, Twitch Rivals: Base Invaders came back with 20 teams of 5. It had an exclusive Twitch Rivals HMLMG skin that you could only earn on the Twitch Rivals channel during the one-day broadcast, plus 5 general drops that ran for five days:

  • Start: 13 May, 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM BST;
  • End: 18 May, midnight PT / 3 AM ET / 8 AM BST.

Round 51: Bears for a Better World (July–August, Charity)

Rust's 2026 charity drive started on 2 July and raised money for Cancer Research UK and Ronald McDonald House UK. Facepunch's announcement promised five drops from any Rust stream on Twitch, with more unlocking as donation milestones were reached. Community trackers list the charity skins as a Large Wood Box, Bed, Large Backpack, Electric Furnace and Auto Turret. The Auto Turret unlocked after donations passed $250,000. According to Rustly, the charity round ran until 13 August 2026.

Round 52: Global Warfare 4 (July–August)

FancyOrb's Global Warfare event returned for a fourth edition. Community trackers that monitored the official drops page list it as running from 30 July (19:00 UTC) to 6 August 2026, with four general drops on a cumulative watch-time ladder:

  • Vending Machine: 2 hours;
  • Sheet Metal Door: 4 hours;
  • Locker: 6 hours;
  • Auto Turret: 8 hours.

There were no streamer-specific rewards, so any Drops Enabled Rust stream counted.

Round 53: Rust Isles (September–October)

Rust Isles, hosted by Rustoria, put creators in a battle for control of the seas. Facepunch's 1 October update confirmed its Twitch drops. Rustpedia lists the round as 24 September to 4 October 2026, with:

General drops (any Drops Enabled Rust stream, cumulative):

  1. Rustoria Med Box (Large Wood Box skin): 1 hour;
  2. Rustoria Turret (Auto Turret skin): 2 hours;
  3. Rust Isles Small Wood Box: 3 hours;
  4. Rust Isles Pants: 4 hours;
  5. Rust Isles Boots: 5 hours;
  6. Rust Isles Hoodie: 6 hours.

Streamer drops: 16 more skins, each needing 1 hour on a specific creator's channel. They included a Rust Isles Rocket Launcher, AR, SAR, Double Barrel Shotgun, Boonie Hat, Small Backpack, Furnace, Wooden Door, Large Wood Box, Sword, Garage Door, Locker, Facemask, Chestplate, Jacket and Tactical Gloves.

How to Get Rust Twitch Drops

The process is the same every round. According to Facepunch's official drops page:

1. Make sure you own Rust on Steam

You need a Twitch account and a Steam account that has Rust in its library. You don't need Twitch Prime (now Prime Gaming). If you claim drops before buying Rust, you can still redeem them later, as long as you buy the game within 180 days of claiming.

Go to twitch.facepunch.com, click Connect Accounts, and sign in with both Steam and Twitch. Do this before you start watching. If one of your accounts is already linked to a different account, sign in to that one first and unlink it.

3. Watch Drops Enabled Rust streams

All Rust streams with the Drops Enabled tag count towards general drops. Streamer drops only count while you watch that specific streamer. You can only earn progress on one channel at a time, so watching several streams at once won't speed anything up.

4. Claim each drop on Twitch

When a drop is ready, claim it from your Twitch Drops Inventory (twitch.tv/drops/inventory). You can track your progress towards the next drop on the same page.

5. Wait for the item in Steam

Facepunch says it can take up to 10 minutes after you press Claim for the item to appear in your Steam inventory.

Rust Twitch Drops Not Showing Up? Fixes

  • Waited more than 30 minutes? According to Facepunch, your Steam account probably wasn't linked to Twitch when you claimed. Link your accounts on twitch.facepunch.com, then press Check for Missing Drops.
  • Lost access to the Twitch account you linked? Sign in with Steam on the drops page and click Unlink Account, then link your new Twitch account.
  • Claimed drops before owning Rust? Buy Rust within 180 days, link your accounts, and use Check for Missing Drops. Drops claimed more than 180 days ago expire.
  • Beware of scams. Facepunch's own news posts warn players to stay alert. Only link accounts on the official twitch.facepunch.com page, and never sign in to "free drops" sites that ask for your Steam login.

Are Rust Twitch Drops Tradable?

Many general Rust Twitch drops can be traded and sold on the market once a round ends. That's how players who missed a round still pick up the skins later. Some exclusives, especially Twitch Rivals rewards, are marked as non-marketable and can only be earned during the live event.

Older drops show up on Mannco.store's Rust market alongside the rest of the Rust skin catalogue. For example, skins from an earlier Twitch Rivals Base Invaders event such as the Base Invaders Hoodie and Base Invaders Pants are listed there. Skins from the 2026 rounds weren't listed on Mannco.store yet when we checked on 13 October 2026. Search the Rust market by skin name to see what's in stock.

Want to turn drops you don't use into something you will? You can sell tradable Rust skins on Mannco.store and spend the balance on any of the four games we support. For budget picks, see our guide to the best cheap Rust skins.

Twitch Drops vs Kick Drops

Rust also runs drop campaigns on Kick, which are separate from Twitch drops. You link Steam to Kick separately and claim through the Kick campaign. Linking Twitch doesn't cover Kick, or the other way round. Facepunch lists both in the footer of rust.facepunch.com. Community trackers report that the most recent Kick round ran in June 2026.
