Dota 2 Arcana List 2026: Every Arcana and How to Get It
Complete Dota 2 arcana list for 2026: all 25 arcanas by hero and release date, which can be traded, and how to get Spectre, Zeus and Tidehunter arcanas.
Arcanas are the top tier of Dota 2 cosmetics. An Arcana isn't just a new outfit. It usually brings new models, animations, ability effects, sounds, icons and often progression styles you unlock by playing. All Arcanas are made by Valve, and you can't delete them in the Armory.
As of October 2026 there are 25 Arcanas in Dota 2. The newest is Tidehunter's Maw of the Megalodon, released on 6 October 2026 in the Trove of Terror. Below is the complete Dota 2 arcana list, which of them you can trade, and how to get each type. Our list is checked against the Liquipedia Dota 2 wiki's Arcana page.
Complete Dota 2 Arcana List (2026)
Arcanas marked "Tradable" are the ones Valve sold through the store and item drops; these change hands on marketplaces like Mannco.store's Dota 2 market. Battle Pass and event-exclusive Arcanas are a different story, which we explain below the table.

Several other older Arcanas were also put back into later events. According to Liquipedia, Wraith King's Arcana returned in the Frostivus 2023 chest, Windranger's in the Winter 2024 Heroes' Hoard and the Carnival Candyworks, Earthshaker's in the Cosmic 2025 Heroes' Hoard, and the store Arcanas through the Candyworks Caravan.
What "tradable" means here
- Store and drop Arcanas (Lina through Ogre Magi in the table, apart from Io and Earthshaker) are the classic marketable Arcanas. They're the ones you can buy from other players, and each one linked above has an item page on Mannco.store. Many of them also come in an Exalted version, such as the Exalted Demon Eater or Exalted Manifold Paradox.
- Battle Pass Arcanas (Io, Earthshaker, Wraith King, Queen of Pain, Windranger, Spectre, Drow Ranger, Faceless Void, Razor) were Battle Pass rewards. These are generally not tradable or marketable, so you can't buy them from another player. You had to earn them during their Battle Pass, or wait for Valve to bring them back in an event.
- Crownfall and Trove of Terror Arcanas came from events. Check the in-game tooltip for trade and market restrictions. None of them are listed on Mannco.store at the time of writing.
Price Check: What Arcanas Cost on Mannco.store
Arcana stock moves fast, and most store Arcanas sell out on Mannco.store soon after they're listed. On 13 October 2026, the item page meta for the Swine of the Sunken Galley showed a lowest price of $23.00 with one in stock. The other store Arcanas were out of stock that day, so we haven't quoted prices for them. Check each item page for current listings, or set up a watch on the Dota 2 market.
Spectre Arcana: Phantom Advent
The Spectre Arcana, Phantom Advent, won the TI10 Arcana vote with 52.41% of the votes against Faceless Void. It was released on 24 June 2021 as a reward in the Nemestice Battle Pass.
Phantom Advent turns Spectre into a single shade of Mercurial trapped in a cursed set of armour, with a new model, effects and styles. Because it was a Battle Pass reward, it couldn't be bought in the store or traded. If you missed Nemestice, there was no way to get it on the market. Spectre players who want it are waiting for Valve to bring it back in a future chest or event, as Valve has done with several other Battle Pass Arcanas.
Zeus Arcana: Tempest Helm of the Thundergod
The Zeus Arcana, Tempest Helm of the Thundergod, won the 2015 Arcana vote and was released on 16 December 2015 together with Zeus's hero remodel. It changes Zeus's head, voice and ability effects, giving him a more godlike, storm-charged look.
Unlike Spectre's, the Zeus Arcana was sold in the store and dropped in game, so it is tradable and marketable. You can buy it from another player whenever there's stock. It has been one of the most popular Arcanas since release, so listings tend to sell quickly.
Tidehunter Arcana: Maw of the Megalodon (New in 2026)
Tidehunter finally got his first Arcana on 6 October 2026, more than twelve years after the hero came out. Maw of the Megalodon is the Ultra Rare reward in the Trove of Terror collection. It turns Tidehunter into a huge prehistoric shark. According to Liquipedia, the Trove of Terror has bad-luck protection: the reward is guaranteed after 49 openings.
The same chest brought back Drow Ranger's Dread Retribution. If you already own it, you get the Ultra Rare "Sepulchral Stalker" bonus reward instead.
How Arcanas Have Been Released Over the Years
Arcanas have come out in four main ways:
- Store releases (2013–2019). Valve sold the first Arcanas directly in the Dota 2 store, and they could also drop. This is why most early Arcanas are tradable.
- The Arcana vote (2014–2020). Battle Pass owners voted each year at The International on which hero would get the next Arcana. Winners included Phantom Assassin (2014), Zeus (2015), Juggernaut (2016), Pudge (2017), Rubick (2018), Ogre Magi (2019) and Spectre (2020). Every runner-up eventually got an Arcana as well.
- Battle Pass exclusives (2017–2022). Io, Earthshaker, Wraith King, Queen of Pain, Windranger, Spectre, Drow Ranger, Faceless Void and Razor all got Arcanas as Battle Pass rewards.
- Events and chests (2024 onward). With the Battle Pass gone, Arcanas now come from events like Crownfall and from chests such as the Trove of Terror.
Which Dota 2 Arcana Should You Buy?
If you want an Arcana you can buy outright, your choice is the 13 tradable store and drop Arcanas: Lina, Legion Commander, Terrorblade, Techies, Shadow Fiend, Phantom Assassin, Crystal Maiden, Zeus, Monkey King, Juggernaut, Pudge, Rubick and Ogre Magi. Pick by the hero you actually play. An Arcana changes how a hero looks and sounds in every game, so it's worth it on a hero you play a lot and wasted on one you don't.
